Program Qualification

Working Makeup Artist (40%)

To apply for 40%, provide your driver's license or state/federal photo ID and 1 of the following:

Professional business website providing at least 10 photos of your own original artistry work on different clients as well as offering makeup services*
Call list on production company letterhead dated within the last 6 months
Editorial page and publication cover dated within the last 6 months
Professional license (cosmetology, aesthetician)
Union Card
IMDB Credit

or 2 of the following:

Business card** with name and specific profession
Professional letter of employment
Current pay stub from client, salon manager or cosmetic retailer
Completed contract dated within the last 6 months
Makeup Artistry course certificate***

Student (40%)

To apply for 40%, provide your driver's license or state/federal photo ID and 1 of the following:

Proof that you are currently enrolled in a cosmetology, esthiology, or makeup artistry program requiring more than 80 hours of instruction
Cosmetologist/Esthetician/Makeup Artistry course completion diploma dated within the last 6 months

Creative Professionals (40%)

Creative professionals (models, actors, performers, stylists, photographers, on-air talent) can apply to receive a 40% discount on all work-related purchases with Sigma Beauty. Provide your driver’s license or state/federal photo ID and 1 of the following:

Professional website offering samples of previous work
Call sheet on production company letterhead dated within the last 6 months
Union Card
Completed Contract dated within the last 6 months
Professional agency letter or reference

*Websites must be complete with galleries of your work done on a variety of clients with several styles of makeup. Social media sites, beauty blogs, booking websites, and cosmetic reselling sites are not accepted.

**A scan or photo of a physical business card will qualify. No digital business cards will be accepted.

***Course certificates may be for online or in-person courses that require more than 80 hours of study. We reserve the right to ask for proof of hours studied.

Sigma PRO Program FAQ

When will I be notified if I am accepted into the Sigma PRO Program?

You will be notified within 5-10 business days if your application is submitted online and 10-15 business days if mailed via USPS destinations.

How do I redeem my Sigma PRO discount? Do I need to apply a code every time I check out?

The discount code will be applied to your account, no extra steps at checkout are necessary.

Note: the Sigma PRO discount cannot be combined with any other offers.

Is the Sigma PRO discount only available online or also in retail stores?

The discount will be applicable both in the Sigma store as well as online, but unfortunately not with any authorized retailers.

Will you be offering editorial credit exchange or product sponsorship for projects/events?

We are happy to provide our PROS product sponsorship for projects, events and planned publications in exchange for product mentions and brand exposure. Please complete this form with sponsorship details and we will get back to you regarding the request as soon as possible. Please note each submission and product gratis amount is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Can I be a part of the Sigma PRO Program as a student?

Yes, we just need proof that you are currently enrolled in a cosmetology school or qualifying program.

Can I be a part of the Sigma PRO Program if I live outside of the United States?

Yes, Sigma PRO is open to qualified candidates worldwide.

Can I use a coupon code in addition to my Sigma PRO discount?

No, the Sigma PRO discount cannot be combined with any other offers.

Will my application ever expire?

Yes. If you are missing components, you will be notified and we will hold your application for 60 days before it expires.
