Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Makes a Difference When first using this I thought it was a little overrated and just like my other flat lid brushes. But when I used Sigma's E58 and a regular lid brush in succession, I noticed that this brush really does make a difference when applying cream eyeshadows. Totally worth the money if you have a lot of cream eyeshadow, like myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for glittery eyeshadows! I was trying to get a glittery eyeshadow on my lid, not realizing it's harder when you have a powder shadow underneath and that's often best to use your fingers, versus using a traditional shader brush. I thought there has to be a brush that accomplishes the same thing, plus I needed a brush for cream shadows. When I used this brush, I was really impressed, not just for cream shadows, but for my glittery shadows. My first thought was that it applied just as if you were using your finger. A little later on, I was watching a youtube review of the brush and they basically said the same thing. I think this should be part of everyone's basic kit. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome & Versatile I'm LIVING for this brush. Not just for cream, you can use it to apply and pack on those powder products to the lid. It's flat so it's great for building-up/packing-on that color. I got this brush in my Extreme Color Payoff Brush Kit. Also, I use this brush to apply eye primer and cream shadows. It can be used for concealer as well. It's a must have in my makeup bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleaning up the eye-shadow like a pro! This brush is awesome for cleaning up all the fall out from eye shadow! You guys are probably like, "yeah right", but I am not kidding! I think it is because it has a flatness to it which sweeps the concealer over the fall out super well.

Hey Sigma! Can you or anyone tell me if this brush or another brush is similar to the Mac 242 brush? I've been looking for a brush like that but don't wanna pay $25! Please let me know which one is similar to the 242 :)

Asked by: rachael12
The closest brushes we have are the E60 Large Shader (if you want a bigger brush) or the E57 Firm Shader (for a smaller brush).

Which of the brushes can be used wet E54, E57, or E58

Asked by: Momo
While the E58 - Cream Color Brush works best with cream and liquid shadows, all of the brushes listed above can certainly be used wet for extra pigment intensity! We suggest spraying the brush to get it damp as the best method. Because these brushes are made with our exclusive, SigmaTech® Fibers they are designed to work well with both liquid and powders!

What is the difference between the E56 and the E58? Which one is more narrow?

Asked by: IHeartLipstick
Great question! They are very similar brushes, the E56 will be more narrow compared to the E58.

Will this brush also work for applying powder eye shadow? I am looking for an equivalent version of the MAC 242 Shader Brush that has firmer fibers to really pack the color on the lid.

Asked by: Jamie
The E58 Cream Color Brush can be used to apply both cream and powder products. Another great brush for packing color onto the lid is the E57 Firm Shader Brush. The E57 Firm Shader brush is designed to apply controlled, intense pigmentation to the lids.
