Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for eye lid this brush is great for the eye lid, if you want to have that sparkle on your lid, this is the brush for you, you just pack it on the lid and thats it, you dont have to use your finger and get it all dirty, this brush is perfect for that, and its also good for under eye if you want to put a little color under your eye, blends out beautifully

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! I got this brush with a kit and was debating its use due to having a similar brush form another brand. This brush, however, has replaced the other. It is weighted and gives a more firm grip when applying eyeshadow. In addition, it makes whatever base or shimmer color you like more pigmented.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it This brush makes the pigmentation of colours so much more intense. I really love this brush because you don't have to use that much product on the lid as it packs the colour on! This is great when you only have one Urban Decay Naked palette.

Hi I need a brush for packing on multiple colors to small eyelids that is not a natural brush

Asked by: Christine
The E57 is great for this task! I also recommend the E20- Short Shader, for maximum control + color pay off with the pigment you are applying.

Hi, I need a brush to put shimmer or glitter on the lid, which brush to you recommend? E57, or E56, or E46? I see some videos of youtubers using the E56, so I'm a little confused about which one to get.

Asked by: Tandis
The E57 and E56 brushes are amazing at picking up shimmer, metallic, and glitter eye shadows. The E57 has dense bristles, which provides fuller coverage and is ideal for base eye shadows, but the E56 is ideal for pops of shimmer or detail glitter application!

What brush is the best for packing on shimmer and metallic shadows?

Asked by: Cherry Pie
Depending on how dense you prefer your brushes, the E57 (less dense, very firm) or E55 (great control, dense bristles) are great options, and will give great color pay off!

is this good for crease cuts?

Asked by: shune
Hello Shune, While we would not recommend the E57 Firm Shader Brush for crease cuts, we would recommend the E62 Cut Crease Brush! The firm, thin angled tip will help you effortlessly draw a cut crease. We would recommend using a cream or powder products with this brush. - Sigma Professional

I’m looking to replace my MAC239 flat shader & the Sigma E57 appears to be the most similar. Do you agree, or would you recommend something else? Side note: I own the E55 but am looking for something flatter to pack dry shadow/pigment on the lid. Thanks.

Asked by: Allyson Sixx C
The E57 Firm Shader Brush is definitely similar to the MAC 239 Flat Shader brush! Our brush features soft, yet firm fibers with a short, flat brush head. It can be used with powder or cream products to apply controlled, intense pigmentation to the lids.

What's the difference between this brush and the E55 Eye Shading Brush?

Asked by: JBG77365
The E57 Firm Shader Brush features soft, yet firm fibers with a short, flat brush head, while the E55 - Eye Shading Brush features a soft and dense squared brush head with slightly rounded edges. The E57 will give intense controlled color application, while the E55 will give you an even application of color. They are both great brushes for starting a base of color onto your lid, however, you will have different results with how the color blends on each brush.

Do you have any brushes from natural animal hair?

Asked by: Kat83
Thank you for your question! Sigma strives to be innovative and ever-evolving with the quality of our brushes. Recently, our brushes have been going through new developments and we are in the process of transitioning all of our brushes to synthetic. The new synthetic bristles are designed to hold their shape better than our previous natural bristles. Synthetic bristles are also designed for more long-term use and are less prone to fraying, product absorption, and breakage. You will be able to find out which brushes are still natural under the Details section on each page.

E55 or E57?? I have small Chinese eyes

Asked by: Uden
The E57 Firm Shader would be a great choice as it is smaller than the E55 and will allow for more precise application.
