Complexion Air Brushes: Get The Natural Look
Subtle, glowing skin is in! Our NEW Complexion Air brushes make it easy to create a fresh and flawless, “no makeup” look. Follow these steps to achieve a simple 5-minute face before you head to your next summer adventure!
Step 1: Base
Creating a light, breathable base is the perfect foundation for summertime skin! First, grab your favorite tinted moisturizer, BB cream or light-coverage foundation. Then, apply it to areas you need the most coverage, concentrating on spots with noticeable redness or blemishes. Buff product into skin using the F80 Air Flat Kabuki™ brush, blending slightly past the jawline towards the neck for seamless, streak-free coverage.
PRO Tip: For added coverage, spot conceal with a medium-to-full-coverage concealer on pesky pimples or dark circles. Tap product into the skin using either your finger, a concealer makeup brush or a precision makeup brush.
Step 2: Bronze + Glow
Next, add subtle warmth to the skin to mimic a summertime tan without the harmful UV rays! Pick a cream or powder bronzer a few shades deeper than your natural skin tone. Start by shading the hollows of your cheeks to add soft structure to the face. Blend using the F74 Air Domed Buffer™brush for a seamless application. Then, buff product along the hairline and underneath the jaw for a bronzed look. Finish with added radiance by tapping a light amount of highlighter to the tops of cheekbones.
Step 3: Blush
Complete your summertime base by adding a pop of color to the cheeks. Choose a peachy pink shade to fake a naturally skinkissed glow. Apply to the apples of the cheeks using the F53 Air Contour/Blush™ brush, blending upward to meld product into your bronzer. Taking whatever product is left on your brush, add a slight dusting across the bridge of the nose for a rosy glow effect.
Step 4: Lids, Lashes + Brows
Now, take a smaller eyeshadow blending brush - we recommend the E27 Detail Blending™ - and the same bronzer shade used on the face. Buff bronzer across the lid and blend into the crease to add subtle definition to the eyes. Use an eyelash curler and top lashes with a coat or two of mascara to help eyes appear wider and more awake. Finally, brush brow hairs upwards and set in place with brow gel to help hold the shape throughout the day
Step 5: Lips
Then, finish off your look with a quick wash of color across the lips. Swipe on a pink-toned lip gloss shade close to your natural lip color to add shine and help lips appear plumper. Just make sure to grab some SPF, and you’re ready to head out the door!
